Repeat Prescriptions

Click here to order your repeat prescription online

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered using the following ways:

  1. Completing the right-hand section of your previous prescription form and either leaving it at the surgery or handing it in to your pharmacy.
  2. Online via the above link.
  3. Via the NHS app

Please allow THREE full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Please note we will only give a repeat prescription to a representative of a patient where we are satisfied that the patient has given his or her consent for the representative to collect the prescription.  Children under 16 may not collect repeat prescriptions. You need to register to use our online repeat prescription ordering service and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of our receptionists.

For any medicine requests that are not on your repeat prescription will not be authorised. You will need to book a telephone appointment with a clinician to ensure the medicine is appropriate.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a clinician at least once a year to review these regular medications. A notification should appear on your repeat slip, or you will receive a message advising you that a review is due. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions as they will not be authorised until a medicine review has been completed.

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

The surgery now sends all prescriptions via the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) to your nominated pharmacy. More information on EPS can be found here: Frequently Asked Questions about EPS
