Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner is an experienced, registered nurse who has undergone extra training and qualifications at an advanced level (Masters) to enable her to see and treat a wide range of patients. She can see anyone that a GP would normally see other than under 5s, pregnant women and patients with severe mental health problems.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a Practice Nurse rather than a Doctor. Practice Nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
Should your knowledge of English be limited, Sussex Interpreting Services and Vandu Language Services provide face to face interpreting for our patients. Language Line provides an overseas language telephone interpreting service. Action for Deafness provides British Sign Language interpreting for patients who are deaf or hearing impaired.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
